What do you do on a day-to-day basis?
Get up too early for my own good, drink lots of coffee, source fabric and trim, put samples to cut and making sure they look pretty and get done on time, send lots of fabric out to dye and for different treatments, and have a glass of wine at the end of the day to name a few.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Making pretty and affordable clothing for girls that cant afford the designer goods that we all obsess over.
What are some clothing or accessories you can’t live without?
Current obsessions would include long printed floral and or striped maxi dresses that drag on the floor, high waisted anything, leggings….leggings…and more leggings, oversized tee’s and buttons ups, oxford shoes galore, anything made by Jeffery Campbell, and recently clogs….if only i could afford the Chanel ones!
If you could do anything other than what you are doing, what would that be? Hmmm….well well well possibly get back into yoga and use the training that I have?
If you could live anywhere other than where you live, where would that be? Brooklyn, New York. The endless energy of the city always pulls me in! There is always something new to see, a new place to eat, and endless street style to inspire you.
Do you own any Quail? If so, what is your favorite item?
My favorite item that I own is the Quail silk Crop Top in nude. It’s so beautiful and simple and is paired so nicely with bright lipstick (currently loving “Up the Amp” by MAC). And what I want to own…. is the Tier Dress in mint…it’s the perfect summer dress with the right amount of skin peeking out the back!
What is the most inspiring thing someone has ever told you?
My dad was recently in Africa and got sick sending him to the hospital, he told me that he talked to God while he was there and God wanted him to tell me that he was proud of me.
What is your favorite feature on yourself? And why?
I love my Swedish heritage! and love my lips because I get to dress them up in multiple shades of lipstick. It’s my favorite way to feel put together without any effort.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Whenever I eat a meal I like to make perfect bites with each bite and I love creating perfect bites for whoever is sitting next to me. Strange? Maybe…but I cant help myself!
