What do you do on a day-to-day basis?

I wear many hats! I am the online fashion editor for Quiksilver Women. I am a personal stylist and have a few other fashion-y entrepreneur projects I am working on.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love when I am working one-on-one with women and I help them to see a whole new person in themselves. They become someone that walks in the room and isn’t just wearing a “cute outfit” but is wearing a show stopper. It is a high for me!

What are some clothing or accessories you can’t live without?

I love cocktail rings and have a collection that means a lot to me.. one that my husband gave me.. another that I picked up in Italy..they are all precious and statement. I honestly love anything with a little drama, so some of my favorites are my vintage lambs fur vest, vintage kimono jackets, killer vintage dresses that I have been collecting over the years, my shoe collection.. and I just picked up the most amazing trench-cape-jacket from Opening Ceremony in NY and I seriously die over it!!!!

If you could do anything other than what you are doing, what would that be?

I would be a Broadway actress singing my heart out on 42nd Street. If only I had an amazing voice and could dance like Beyonce.

If you could live anywhere other than where you live, where would that be? LONDON. I lived there for a few months when I was in college and I fell in love with it. I loved saying “cheers” and “brilliant”, walking in Hyde Park, sipping tea in the afternoon and hopping on and off the tube. The fashion is also so much fun in London.. like New York.. but more willing to get crazy with color and self-expression. BUT, I would only want to live there if I had loads of cash..

Do you own any Quail? If so, what is your favorite item?

Yes! I love Quail, so feminine and tough at the same time.. kind of dreamy as well. I picked up the Mill Shorts from the Fall 2009 collection and they are the perfect statement piece for a party.

What is the most inspiring thing someone has ever told you?

My husband tells me I am beautiful in the morning when I consider myself “gross” and what could be better then that!

What is your favorite feature on yourself? And why?

I love my hair. I think hair is an asset that people don’t use that often. It is basically a free accessory to any outfit. I love wearing a simple outfit and then throwing my hair into a beehive bun, or pinning it into a mohawk curled updo. I love trying new and different things and thankfully I have a lot of hair to work with.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I am not cool. I sing and cry to Barbara Streisand songs, I love comfort food from the South, my favorite evening is not out at a cool club.. it is tucked in a booth with my hubby, and I really love to be lazy on the couch watching stupid TV.
